Affiliate Disclosure

How we make money — and why it doesn't affect our reviews.

⚡ The short version

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy or sign up for something, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. This never influences our review scores, recommendations, or which tools we cover.

The full disclosure

ToolPilot participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means that when you click on certain links on our site and subsequently make a purchase or sign up for a service, we may earn a referral commission from the company.

This disclosure is made in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), and similar regulations in other jurisdictions.

Which links are affiliate links?

Affiliate links on ToolPilot typically appear in:

  • Review pages (e.g., "Try Jasper Free →" buttons)
  • Comparison tables ("Get Deal" buttons)
  • The Deals page
  • Occasional in-article recommendations

We do not mark every individual affiliate link, but we disclose our affiliate relationships at the site level (here and in our footer) and within relevant review pages. When in doubt, assume that a link to a commercial product page may be an affiliate link.

Our current affiliate partners

  • Jasper AI (jasper.ai)
  • Copy.ai
  • Writesonic
  • Surfer SEO
  • Frase.io
  • Grammarly
  • Canva Pro
  • Hostinger / Bluehost (web hosting)
  • Fiverr
  • AppSumo

This list may not be exhaustive and may change over time as we add or remove partners.

Does this affect our reviews?

No — and here's how we protect that.

  • We test every tool independently before approaching any affiliate arrangement.
  • Our review scores are determined before any commission rates are known or considered.
  • We have given low scores to tools with generous affiliate programs (e.g., we scored a tool with a 40% commission rate below 7.0 because it genuinely underperformed).
  • We have given high scores to tools with no affiliate program at all.
  • No company has ever paid us to feature, recommend, or write positively about their product.

Editorial independence

ToolPilot's editorial team operates independently from any business or monetization considerations. Our writers and reviewers are not compensated based on affiliate revenue generated by their articles. They are compensated based on the quality and accuracy of their work.

If you ever have a concern about a review you've read on AIToolPilot — whether it seems too positive, too negative, or just off — please contact us. We take editorial integrity seriously and will investigate.

Questions?

If you have any questions about our affiliate relationships or editorial practices, please get in touch. We're happy to discuss how we make money and why we believe it doesn't compromise our independence.
